This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position.
Position is eligible for health, retirement and generous paid time off benefits.
Duties include screening homeless and near homeless individuals and families for emergency housing assistance needs, participating in community outreach, supporting permanent housing for individuals and families through ongoing engagement, and managing our agency housing service records and grants management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, have training and experience in the housing first intervention model, experience with the Homeless Management Information Systems and other case management databases.
Applicants should possess at least a bachelor's degree in social work or related field (or the equivalent in training and experience), and have a desire to share the love of Christ by helping our neighbors in times of need.
New Hope is open to considering individuals without prior housing and homeless intervention experience who demonstrate commitment and concern for this population.
