Digital Content & Public Relations Coordinator

The Digital Content Public Relations Coordinator is responsible for executing Presbyterian Senior Living's (PSL) digital content strategy, social media plan, press releases, and assists with maintaining the PSL website.
The Digital Content and Public Relations Coordinator will develop and maintain a content and social calendar that supports the larger integrated marketing strategy focusing on:
website development and management, text and multimedia content, content management, influencer and media initiatives and events.
This person will also assist the marketing team in gathering other digital content, including photos and videos.
Remote position but does require living within 30 minutes of Dillsburg, PA REQUIRED EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field preferred or the equivalent combination of education/experience Minimum three years' experience developing content, social media management, digital marketing, and public relations Advanced knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Pinterest Experience with PR software Cision preferred Previous healthcare and hospitality experience is preferred Proficiency in:
asset creation such as Adobe Creative Suite and digital photography, SEO-focused writing, and web conversion metrics and content management systems, social and traditional media monitoring, as well as measurement tools and concepts REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to lead engagement with an audience of multiple stakeholders using graphics, video and text Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to execute a project from start to finish independently Superior writing skills and a flair for communicating effectively on digital platforms required Ability work collaboratively with all stakeholders and internal or external customers Ability to remain flexible and reprioritize tasks and workload to meet deadlines EXPECTATIONS:
Content Development and Publishing:
Leads the development and expansion of Corporate and Community digital content efforts through writing and editing of content, consistent with the PSL integrated marketing strategy and in consultation with the Creative Marketing Manager and other management staff as appropriate.
Researches, writes copy, edits and proofreads blog and web content.
Promotes brand awareness and support of PSL's services, mission, vision, and values.
Writes and distributes press releases and seeks out media opportunities to share the story of PSL.
Develops annual content; blog; social; and Public Relations calendar.
Website Administration:
Leads the maintenance and revisions of the PSL websites in collaboration with the Creative team.
Marketing Manager:
Manages content for the organization's web presence.
Coordinates copy writing, edits, and proofreads all web content.
Acts as the first point-of-contact for site-related questions and handles requests from both internal teams and external inquiries.
Social Media Communications:
Leads the execution of PSL's organic social media strategy in support of conversion and engagement goals for PSL stakeholders (Marketing, Resource Development, HR, and Corporate Administration).
Monitors and replies to comments and posts on social media.
Media Relations:
Leads distribution of press releases to local media.
Distributes incoming media requests to appropriate party.
Assists with providing media coaching to organizational leaders when needed.
Monitors for organizational mentions via traditional and social media.
Authors articles in collaboration with residents and/or staff for distribution to local, regional, and national media.
Measurements and Analytics:
Shares content performance and outline improvement opportunities and plans.
Creative Services Team Support:
Collaborates with internal Marketing team.
Asset Management:
Assists with keeping organized and complete files and be ready to share internally.
Participates in the production of department graphic demands and the creation of content not solely for web use.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
