Seifert, LLC has been providing concrete construction services to general contractors and owners in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Our in-house capabilities have grown over the years with the ability to handle all aspects of a project from foundations, flatwork, exterior concrete to excavation and grading.

If you are interested in joining a team-oriented group and are motivated, hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn, we want to talk to you! SUMMARY OF POSITION This individual will complete price quotes and submit bids to customers on projects that fit the company's work profile.
Quotes should be within an acceptable profit margin to the company and in line with the normal industry prices.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Collaborates with estimating team in choosing projects to bid and schedule Obtains plans and specs for projects chosen for bid, including addenda and updates Contacts vendors for pricing on materials and services necessary to compile an estimate Assures all projects are bid within the specifications requested by the contractor Prepares scope of work for projects bid and proposals Assures proposals and all necessary paperwork is submitted in a timely manner Reviews estimates with the operations team and Project Managers Compares contract scope of work and plans for projects awarded to the proposal and bid plans Works closely with the Project Manager, as necessary, on projects awarded to assure that all information is communicated as accurately as possible, and that project is completed per scope of work Prepares change order pricing for additional scope of work/drawing changes for projects Communicates with Project Managers as necessary regarding project scope, changes, or purchasing Assists in obtaining submittal information, purchases material if necessary Maintains updated list of projects bid for use in follow up on bids Maintains a highly professional relationship with all customers, while assuring a good company image Attends weekly review, scope and turnover meetings Reviews job cost of historical data/active jobs REQUIREMENTS Concrete/construction estimating experience is a plus HCSS/bid software a plus Experience with Microsoft products (word, excel & outlook) Ability to read and understand detailed blueprints Strong communication skills Extreme attention to detail and experience with tight deadlines We offer competitive wages based upon experience.
