Timberview Veterinary Hospital is seeking a part time kennel attendant/helper to add to our dedicated team.
We are looking for a candidate that would be able to assist our technicians and doctors during appointments a few evenings per week and on Saturdays.
On-site training will be provided for the following job duties:
restraint and handling of our patients, preparation of necessary items for appointments such as vaccinations, basic cleaning and restocking.
This candidate would also be be trained to care for our boarding pets during scheduled shifts on weekdays and on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
We would expect this individual to be very familiar with cats and dogs and fully capable of caring for them independently.
We do NOT board aggressive pets but some pets do get anxious while boarding so experience working with them is a must.
Job duties will include but are not limited to feeding pets, walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes, cleaning kennels and giving oral medications.
This position would be ideal for a mature high school or college student looking to work an average of 15 hours per week.
