We are currently seeking a Special Instructor with a Teacher's Certification for Hearing Impairment.
Candidates must be able to provide services in-person.
This is a very flexible part-time position, offering you the opportunity to build a small caseload of clients based on your availability and towns in York County you are available to work in.
As an early interventionist, you have the ability to make a positive impact on a child, while coaching their family members through interventions based on their daily routines in the child's natural setting.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and various other medical professionals to plan and carry over goals while working on the Individual Family Service Plan.
In addition to specialization and certification as a Teacher of the Deaf or Hearing Impaired, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in one of the following areas, or have Bachelor's degree with at least 18 credit hours in early child development:
Early Childhood Education Special Education Family and Child Services, or related majors.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience working with children age five or younger who have a developmental delay.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Graduate from an accredited Bachelor's Degree Program Certification and Specialization in Hearing Impairment.
A minimum of one year of experience working with children under the age of 5 years old This position does include travel from to and from homes, daycares and community settings.
