5K a year Welcome to Quality Greenhouses and Perennial Farm! We are a wholesale grower of annuals and perennials, focused on providing independent garden centers and nurseries with a 'quality grown' product and selection that includes new and unique varieties.
We're hiring a Sectional Grower - Perennials to join our team in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania (about 15 miles southwest of Harrisburg).
In this role you will be responsible for watering, fertilizing, pest management, crop care, and day-to-day tasks of specific growing area.
Our goal is to provide 'quality grown' products with a level of service that exceeds industry standards and establishes us as a leader in the industry.

What you will be doing:
Manage all irrigation, including hand watering.
Administer IPM applications, including scouting, sanitation, and biological or chemical controls.
Oversee management of heating, cooling, and shade controls.
Conduct plant care and management, including watering, weeding, spacing, and trimming.
Organize plant products and essential supply inventories.
Provide weekly plant product availability updates.
Supervise order pulling and potting crews.
Collaborate with logistics department and other growing departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
This job is for you if you have:
2-year degree in Horticulture, Greenhouse, and/or equivalent work experience.
Ability to work overtime hours during the spring season, including some weekends.
Ability Perform physical labor, including lifting, pulling carts, extensive walking, and work in all weather conditions.
Outstanding communication skills and can work in a team setting.
Attend industry- related educational trainings.
Perform under minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.
Basic math skills.
Professional reference from at least one prior employer.
