Responsibilities:
Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
Study, analyze, and report on trends, opportunities for expansion, and projections of future company growth.
Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
Oversee accounting departments, budget preparation, and audit functionsMeet regularly with department heads to keep informed and to offer direction.
Review reports to analyze projections of sales and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggest methods of improving the planning process as appropriate.
Meet with department heads to ensure that budget adjustments are made in accordance with program changes.
Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.
Qualifications:

years of experience in a leadership role Senior Living experience A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or BusinessAdvanced degree or professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, etc.
) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
Experience in managing financial reports and statements.
Proficiency in analyzing financial data and creating projections.
Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, and payroll tax.
Experience with 990 and cost report preparation.
Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and related systems.
